As part of the study, Leanhcm worked with a select group of organizations to better understand the vision alignment of team members with their leadership. The research design involved two surveys, one administered to leaders and one to team members. The employee survey covers the broad areas of the company’s leadership, vision, interaction with employees, taking and giving responsibility, strategic priorities for the organization, establishing the organization’s goals and employees’ experience at their workplace. Leaders of the organization were surveyed on their challenges, company’s performance and outcome in relation to organization's objectives and employer’s perspective of the employees’ performance. At the end of the study, a performance score is provided. The broad results are indicators of vision alignment between employees' responses and the leader's perspective of firm performance. Guidelines for improvement are also provided to the participating organizations.
